Biolab donates R$ 2 million in medicines to communities in Rio Grande do Sul

Company donates R$ 2 million in medicines and gives paid leave to employees.

The action also includes bonus benefits, advance payment of the 13th salary and support for the industry's employees in the state.

The pharmaceutical company Biolab has donated 150,000 boxes of medicines to meet the emergency needs of those affected by the climate disaster in the state. According to the pharmaceutical company, the value of the products amounts to around R$ 2 million.

But the company has also shown internal care: it has released its employees affected by the rain, but on paid leave.

In addition, it will allocate the entire amount of the monthly award to the employees affected and will pay them their 13th salary in advance. It is also providing medical, psychological and legal support to workers who are vulnerable.

The company encourages its 3,800 employees to take part in the campaign led by the Pharmaceutical Products Industry Union (Sindusfarma), contributing double the amount raised.
