BRIEF DESCRIPTION/INDICATION
Cronocor®, carvedilol is a beta-blocker with a dual mechanism of action that acts on B1 and A1 receptors, acting on the heart and on vasodilation. Its action has been shown to be as effective as Atenolol in reducing BP. Carvedilol is considered the gold standard in the treatment of HF according to the Heart Failure Guidelines.
Cronocor® is a medicine used to treat congestive heart failure (heart failure), angina pectoris (chest pain of cardiac origin) and hypertension (high blood pressure).
